Dear Adam and Alexa,
So 1st) the racism disgust me but I like how the uncle takes into account the feelings of African Americans and that he sees them as just people and also I feel as if Iris hasn't completely decided her position on that but she just goes along with her parents ideas. 2nd) I find Iris really interesting and relatable because she puts on that mask to present herself as something pretty like a present but what is inside is not yet known.
